Tips From the Road
- Humidity is high most of the year, so plan longer rides for early morning or late afternoon.
- If you are catching the ferry, check its schedule the day before and send it to us so we can set the departure time.
- The mountain roads to the east are scenic but winding. If anyone gets carsick, ask for a stop whenever needed.
- Send a map pin rather than describing the address. It is quicker and more accurate.
