Three cities that work as one
Visitors often book a Dammam taxi and then find their hotel is in Khobar, their meeting in Dhahran and their relatives somewhere in between. Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran have grown into one continuous urban area, and most trips in the Eastern Province cross from one to another. We handle the whole area as a single service: one message on WhatsApp, one fixed price for the car, and a driver who knows which of the three cities you actually mean.
King Fahd International Airport (DMM)
The thing that surprises first-time visitors is the airport's location. King Fahd International sits well outside the cities, in open desert north-west of Dammam, so the ride to a hotel on the Khobar corniche is longer than a typical airport run. Plan on it, especially if you have an evening meeting the day you land.
For arrivals, send the flight number. The driver follows the landing time and meets you in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign, and you have 60 minutes of free waiting from touchdown. For departures, tell us the flight time and your pickup district, and we suggest a departure time that leaves enough margin for the drive and check-in.

Eastern Province fares are quoted per trip, because a ride from the north of Dammam to south Khobar is a very different distance from a hop between neighbouring districts. Once we confirm a price it is fixed. It covers the whole car, not each passenger, and you pay on arrival.
How a booking goes
- You message us with the pickup (map pin, hotel name or flight number), the destination, the time and the number of passengers.
- We reply with a suitable car and the fixed fare.
- You confirm, and we send the driver's details closer to the time.
- The driver arrives a few minutes early, loads the bags and takes you straight there.
Nothing is paid in advance for a normal booking.
Picking the right car
For one or two people on a work trip, a sedan (up to four passengers) is enough. Families arriving with a pile of suitcases do better in the SUV or van, which takes up to seven. The VIP class seats up to three and is often booked for guests a company wants to receive well. All vehicles are on the fleet page.
Weekends, events and the corniche
Weekend evenings on the Khobar and Dammam corniches are busy, and parking near the waterfront fills up fast. That is when a car with a driver is most convenient: you are dropped at the entrance you want and collected at an agreed time, with no hunting for a space. If you are going to a conference or exhibition, send us the venue and the session times and we will plan the drop-off and the pickup around them.
When you need the same ride every day
Some of our customers in the East need more than a single trip. They need the same ride again and again: a two-week work assignment with a daily run between hotel and office, or a family accompanying a patient who has to go to the hospital and back each day. In those cases, send us the whole schedule. We will suggest a clear arrangement at a price agreed in advance, so you do not have to look for a car every morning.
What helps the driver find you
- An exact map pin. District and street names can look alike between Dammam and Khobar.
- A WhatsApp number for the passenger if you are booking for someone else.
- A note about the entrance for compounds and towers with more than one gate.
- A rough count of bags and their sizes, so the driver arrives in a car that fits them first time.
Long trips from the East
The Eastern Province is a long way from the Holy Cities. Dammam to Makkah is one of the longest trips in the country, usually driven via Riyadh and taking most of a day with rest and prayer stops. If you are travelling for Umrah, you enter ihram at the miqat on the route, and the driver plans that stop with you. The fare for this trip is agreed in advance on WhatsApp, and in Makkah our Makkah taxi service can take over for local rides.
Riyadh is closer, at about 400 km. For trips in the capital see the Riyadh taxi page, and for the road itself see Dammam to Riyadh.
Dammam questions
Do you cover Khobar and Dhahran, or only Dammam?
All three. Pickups and drop-offs anywhere across Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran are part of the same service.
Can I book a car to wait while I attend a meeting?
Yes. Say how long you expect to be and whether the driver should wait or come back. We include that in the price we confirm.
