A private car in Riyadh, booked by message
Riyadh is a city built for cars. Distances between districts are long, the ring roads fill up at rush hour, and finding a ride outside a hotel at the wrong time can mean a long wait. Our Riyadh taxi service is a simple alternative: you send the details on WhatsApp, we confirm a fixed price for the whole car, and a driver turns up at the time you asked for. It suits visitors flying in for meetings, families visiting relatives, and pilgrims who start their journey to Makkah from the capital.
King Khalid International Airport (RUH)
For a King Khalid Airport transfer in Riyadh, send your flight number when you book. The driver follows the flight and waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal with a sign bearing your name. You get 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, which is normally enough for passport control and baggage even on a busy evening.
The airport is north of the city. Outside rush hour the drive to Olaya or the King Abdullah Financial District usually takes around half an hour to forty minutes; at peak times allow more. Going the other way, to catch a flight, we suggest a pickup time based on your departure and the time of day, with a comfortable margin for check-in.

We do not publish a fixed list for Riyadh because prices depend heavily on the exact pickup and drop-off and on the time of day. Once you send those details, the price we confirm is fixed. It does not change with traffic, and you pay on arrival.
Days with several stops
Business visitors often have three or four appointments spread across the city. Rather than booking separate rides, list the addresses and times in one message. We will tell you whether a single car for the whole day makes more sense, and quote accordingly. The same applies to a family day out: a morning in Diriyah, lunch somewhere in the city, and an evening on one of the boulevards, all with the same driver.
- Put the stops in order and add an approximate time for each.
- Say whether the driver should wait at each stop or come back later.
- Mention anything that affects the car choice: a wheelchair, a pushchair, or large sample cases.
Choosing the car
A sedan seats up to four with normal luggage and is the usual choice for one or two business travellers. The family SUV or van takes up to seven and is the better fit when relatives come to collect a whole family from the airport. The VIP class, for up to three passengers, is for guests you want to receive with extra comfort. All vehicles are listed on the fleet page.
Tips for a first visit to Riyadh
- Send a map pin, not just a name. Many towers and compounds have more than one entrance, and an exact location saves several phone calls.
- Plan around rush hour. Main roads fill up in the morning as offices open and again in the late afternoon. Before an important meeting, book the car earlier than you think you need it.
- Gated compounds. If you are staying in a compound that needs an entry permit, tell us. The driver will wait at the gate and call you.
- Lots of luggage. Families arriving for a long stay usually carry more bags than they expect, and a family car saves booking two vehicles.
If you are booking for elderly parents or a woman travelling alone, mention it in your message so the driver can contact them appropriately and help with the bags at the door.
Leaving Riyadh by road
Some trips start in the capital and end far away. The most common is Riyadh to Makkah for Umrah, a long drive of well over 800 km that takes most of a day with rest and prayer stops. People heading for Umrah enter ihram at the miqat on their route before reaching Makkah, and the driver plans a stop for it. Once you arrive, our Makkah taxi service can handle your trips around the city.
Eastward, Dammam is about 400 km away. For that route see Riyadh to Dammam, and for rides around the Eastern Province see our Dammam taxi page. Every long-distance fare is agreed in advance on WhatsApp.
