King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) sits on the Red Sea coast north of Jeddah and combines residential neighbourhoods, resorts, an industrial zone and a port. Many residents and visitors need regular runs to Jeddah and its airport, longer trips to Makkah for Umrah, or a drive to Madinah. The city is spread out, and districts are not always close to one another, so a private car with a driver saves a lot of coordination.

Heading out for Umrah
If you leave KAEC with the intention of Umrah, you pass a miqat on the way south, so it is sensible to put on ihram before setting off or agree with the driver to pause at the miqat. If you want to call at Jeddah first to collect a family member, mention it when booking so we can price the full route.
