Hourly Chauffeur

A private car and driver that stays with you for the hours you book — for errands, meetings and multi-stop days.

When an hourly driver beats a one-way ride

A standard taxi takes you from A to B and leaves. That works until your day has six stops in it: a clinic appointment, then a pharmacy, then a mall, then back to the hotel before prayer. Ordering a new car at every point eats time and patience. The hourly chauffeur option from Mishwar Al Haramain keeps one private car and one driver with you for the whole block of time you book. The driver waits while you are inside and moves when you are ready.

You choose the start time and the number of hours, and we confirm a fixed fare on WhatsApp before the day. Nothing ticks up while you wait, and you never have to hunt for parking or a fresh ride between stops.

What people usually book it for

  • Medical days: clinic, lab and pharmacy in one run, especially with elderly relatives who should not stand waiting for cars.
  • Back-to-back meetings: several appointments across Riyadh or Jeddah, with the car parked near the entrance each time.
  • Family shopping: a round of markets and malls with somewhere safe to leave bags between stops.
  • Ziyarat at your own pace: visiting sites around Makkah or Madinah on your schedule rather than a fixed tour programme.
  • Events: dropping guests at a hall or hotel and collecting them late at night.

We do not publish a single hourly rate here, because the cost depends on the city, the length of the booking and the vehicle class. Send us your plan and you get a clear quote before you commit. For point-to-point fares between cities, see the taxi fares guide.

Planning a smooth day

  1. List your stops in order. Even a rough sequence lets the driver pick sensible roads and avoid doubling back.
  2. Allow for waiting. Doctor visits run late and malls swallow hours. Build in a margin rather than extending in a rush.
  3. Plan around prayer times. Traffic near the Haram in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah changes sharply before and after each prayer.
  4. Match the car to the load. Heavy shopping or a folding wheelchair calls for the family vehicle rather than a sedan. Browse the fleet first.

What to send on WhatsApp

  • City, date and start time.
  • Approximate number of hours.
  • Number of passengers and how much luggage or shopping.

Common questions

Is there a minimum number of hours?

It depends on the city and the time of day, so we state it together with your final price when you message us.

Can I change the stops during the day?

Yes. As long as you stay within the city and the booked time, the driver follows your plan even if the order changes.

What if I need more time than I booked?

Tell the driver or message us. If the driver has no later job, we extend the booking and tell you the extra cost before it applies.

Can the hourly booking include a trip to another city?

Intercity journeys are usually priced as separate transfers, such as a taxi from Makkah to Madinah. Share your plan and we will suggest the best setup.
