The first thing you need after landing in AlUla
AlUla International Airport is small and calm, but the hotels and resorts it serves are spread out: some near the Old Town, others tucked into distant valleys between sandstone cliffs. Taxis are not always waiting when flights arrive. Booking your car before you travel means you walk out of arrivals and someone is already there for you.
With Mishwar Al Haramain, the driver stands in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. We track your flight, and you get 60 minutes of free waiting after landing. The fare is fixed per car, confirmed on WhatsApp beforehand, and paid on arrival.
Where most of our passengers head
- The Old Town and central AlUla: hotels close to restaurants and markets.
- Valley resorts: longer roads, sometimes with entrances that are easy to miss, so send us the exact resort name.
- Farm stays and rural lodges: share a Google Maps pin so the driver finds you without fuss.
Journey time depends on where you are staying, and your driver will tell you as you set off.
How the fare is worked out
AlUla airport is not on our published fare list, so we send a fixed fare on WhatsApp once we know your destination, number of passengers and vehicle class. The price is for the whole car, not per passenger, and there is no prepayment for normal bookings.

Getting back to the airport
AlUla has fewer flights than the big airports, and missing one is costly. We set your hotel pickup with a comfortable margin. Send your departure time and hotel name and we will suggest when to leave. You can also book arrival and departure together from the start.
Tips for AlUla visitors
- Winter is the busiest season thanks to mild weather and events, so book your car early.
- Desert nights are cold in winter even when the days are warm.
- Hegra and several heritage sites are usually visited on ticketed tours, so sort those bookings before arranging your car.
