KAEC to Makkah Taxi Transfer

From King Abdullah Economic City to your hotel in Makkah by private car, with no change of transport, at a fixed per-car fare confirmed on WhatsApp.

Why KAEC residents take a private car to Makkah

Plenty of people living and working in King Abdullah Economic City head to Makkah for Umrah or to pray at the Haram over the weekend. The train is an option, but it means reaching the station at a fixed time and then finding another ride from the Makkah station to your hotel. With Mishwar Al Haramain the car collects you from your door in KAEC or from your hotel there, and drops you at your hotel in Makkah or the closest permitted point to the Haram, with your bags and children, at the hour you choose.

The road in brief

The car heads south from KAEC on the highway towards Jeddah, then takes the road to Makkah, usually without going through central Jeddah traffic. The trip is longer than a Jeddah to Makkah run, so plan for roughly two hours or a little more, depending on traffic and the checkpoints at the entrances to Makkah.

A note on ihram

KAEC lies near Rabigh, and where you enter ihram depends on your situation: a resident, or someone who forms the intention for Umrah while already in KAEC, is in a different position from a traveller who came from beyond the miqat intending Umrah. If you are unsure where you should enter ihram, ask someone knowledgeable you trust before the trip, and if you need a stop on the way for any reason, tell us when booking.

Fare

This route is not in our published fare table, so we confirm the fare for each trip on WhatsApp before you book. It is for the whole car, not per passenger, it is fixed once confirmed, and you pay on arrival with no prepayment for normal bookings. To compare with published Makkah routes, see the fare guide.
