Leaving Makkah: do not leave the airport run to chance
The last day in Makkah is usually full: a final prayer at the Haram, packing, checking out. On that day of all days you do not want to stand outside the hotel looking for a car while your check-in deadline approaches. With Mishwar Al Haramain you book the airport run in advance, the driver reaches your hotel at the agreed time, and you are dropped at departures at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Fixed fares
Fares are for the whole car, not per passenger, and you pay on arrival at the airport, with no prepayment for normal bookings:

When should you leave the hotel?
The airport is about 100 km from Makkah, and the drive normally takes roughly an hour to an hour and a quarter. Departure day brings other variables though: leaving the central area around the Haram can be slow after prayers, and the airport is large with several terminals. So we suggest:
- Domestic flights: be at the airport at least two hours before departure.
- International flights: at least three hours before departure.
- Ramadan and peak seasons: add an extra hour, as both the road and the airport are busier.

Where the driver collects you
The driver comes to your hotel entrance or the nearest point cars can reach, since some hotels in the central area are on streets closed to vehicles at peak times. In that case we agree a clear meeting point with you. At the airport you are dropped at the terminal your flight leaves from, so tell us your airline or terminal if you know it.
Luggage and Zamzam water
Many Umrah travellers go home with Zamzam water and gifts on top of their suitcases, so if you have a lot of luggage choose the family vehicle from the start. Categories are explained on the fleet page.

Is the fare the same whichever terminal I fly from?
The published fare is for the drop at Jeddah Airport and is confirmed when you book.
Can we stop in Jeddah before the airport?
Yes. Mention the stop when booking and we include it in the fixed fare, making sure you still have enough time before your flight.
I am staying outside the central area, in Al Aziziyah for example. Does anything change?
No. We collect from any district in Makkah, and districts away from the Haram are usually easier to reach.
