Landed in Jeddah and heading to KAEC?
Many people travelling to King Abdullah Economic City arrive through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah: employees coming back to work, families who live there, and visitors attending events or meetings. The airport is in the north of Jeddah, which is already the direction you need for KAEC, so a direct private car makes good sense after a long flight. At Mishwar Al Haramain we arrange a driver who waits in the hall and takes you to your home or hotel there.
How the airport pickup works
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Before you fly | Send your flight number, arrival time and KAEC address on WhatsApp |
| During the flight | We track its status. If it is late or early, we adjust the driver’s time |
| After landing | You get 60 minutes of free waiting for passport control and baggage |
| In arrivals | Your driver waits with a name sign and helps with your luggage |
| On the road | A direct drive north on the coastal highway to KAEC |
The airport has several terminals, so tell us yours if you know it and we will send precise meeting instructions. More on airport pickups is on the Jeddah Airport taxi page.
How long is the drive?
It is shorter than heading to Makkah because you skip central Jeddah, typically somewhere between one and one and a half hours depending on traffic and where you are staying in KAEC, since its districts and facilities are spread along a wide stretch of coast.
Fare
This route is not in our published fare table, so we confirm a fixed fare on WhatsApp before you arrive. It is for the whole car, not per passenger, it does not change if your flight is late within the free waiting hour, and you pay on arrival with no prepayment for normal bookings.
Choose the car by your luggage
- Sedan: one or two passengers with medium bags, ideal for short business trips.
- Family SUV/Van: large suitcases or a family with children.
- VIP: for company guests or anyone wanting a higher category.
See the categories on the fleet page.
If Makkah is your next stop
