From the Taif Highlands to the Departure Hall
When your holiday in Taif is over or your family visit ends, your flight will most likely leave from King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. It is a relatively long drive: a mountain descent, then a route that passes near Makkah before reaching Jeddah, usually taking about two to three hours depending on the road and traffic. On this trip, getting the departure time right matters more than anything else.
How We Work Out Your Pickup Time
We start from your flight's departure and count backwards:
- Airport check-in time: airlines usually advise about three hours before international flights and about two hours before domestic ones.
- The drive: roughly two to three hours from Taif.
- A safety margin: for traffic on the Jeddah approaches or a short prayer stop.
Send us your departure time and flight type and we will suggest a pickup time. For an early-morning flight, that can mean leaving Taif around or after midnight.
The Fare
This is one of the routes we quote on request, so there is no published figure. Send your Taif address, the number of passengers and your preferred class, and we will reply on WhatsApp with a fixed fare for the car. It does not change once agreed and is paid on arrival at the airport, with no prepayment.
| Class | Good for |
|---|---|
| Sedan | One to three travellers with normal luggage |
| Family SUV / van | A family returning from holiday with lots of bags |
| VIP | A more comfortable ride before a long flight |

Coming Down From Taif at Night
Many international departures from Jeddah leave at dawn or early morning, which means setting off from Taif at night. A mountain road after dark needs an alert driver who knows the bends, and we make sure your driver is prepared for the trip. You can rest in the back seat until you arrive.
Getting Your Luggage Ready
Have your bags by the door at least fifteen minutes before pickup, and check their weight if your airline is strict about it, because there is no time to repack at the airport. If you have fragile items, tell the driver so they can be stowed safely. Small details like these keep a long airport run calm.
Questions Before Booking

When should I leave Taif to catch my flight?

Can we stop in Makkah before the airport?
