From the economic city to the Red Sea's busiest port city
King Abdullah Economic City sits on the Red Sea coast north of Jeddah, and people come here to work, live or spend a weekend by the beach. Yet much of what residents and visitors need runs through Jeddah: the airport, major hospitals, big shopping centres and official appointments. The two are roughly 100 km apart. The coastal highway is quick most of the time, but getting across Jeddah itself can take a while depending on the district and the hour.
Mishwar Al Haramain arranges a private car with a driver to take you from your door in KAEC straight to your address in Jeddah, at a fixed price for the whole car.
Who books this ride
- Flyers: KAEC residents who need to reach King Abdulaziz International Airport on time.
- Staff and visitors: a meeting in Jeddah in the morning and back by evening.
- Families: a shopping day or a visit to relatives in Jeddah.
- Pilgrims: passing through Jeddah on the way to Makkah.
Where in Jeddah?
Anywhere in the city: a hotel, a home, a hospital, a mall, or straight to the airport terminals. If Makkah is your final stop, the driver can carry on, and the taxi from Jeddah to Makkah page has details and fares for that leg.
