Premium Sedan: Comfort First, for Journeys You Want to Enjoy
Some trips are about getting from A to B; others are part of the experience itself. The premium class is for the second kind. It is the most refined sedan category in the Mishwar Al Haramain fleet: a larger, smoother, quieter car where the back seat feels like somewhere you can rest rather than simply sit. The exact model depends on availability on your date, and we are happy to tell you on WhatsApp what we can assign before you confirm.
We usually recommend premium to travellers for whom a calm ride matters more than saving a little on the fare: older parents on a long highway drive, couples marking a special trip, guests recovering from a long-haul flight, or anyone who simply wants the most comfortable sedan we offer.
Where the Difference Is Most Noticeable
Makkah to Madinah and back
About 450 km and roughly four and a half to five hours on the road. Over that distance, seat comfort, cabin noise and suspension make a real difference to how you feel on arrival. This is the single route on which premium is booked most. For route details and stops, see our taxi from Makkah to Madinah page.
The mountain road to Taif
The climb from Makkah up the Al Hada road to Taif (around 90 km) is scenic but winding. A larger, well-balanced car makes the bends far more pleasant, especially for passengers prone to motion sickness. More on the city is on our Taif taxi page.
After a long-haul flight
If you have been travelling for twelve hours or more, the hour from Jeddah airport to your hotel is when you most want quiet and space. Premium gives you both, with the usual arrivals-hall meeting, flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting after landing.
Premium Compared With Our Other Sedans
| Economy | Standard | Premium | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cabin space | Compact | Comfortable | Generous, especially in the rear |
| Ride on long drives | Adequate | Good | The smoothest in our sedan range |
| Best for | Short hops, tight budgets | Everyday transfers | Long journeys, elderly travellers, special occasions |
| Passengers | 1 to 3 | Up to 3 adults | Up to 3 adults in real comfort |
Luggage space is similar to the standard sedan: two large suitcases and cabin bags. If you need room for both people and a lot of luggage, the VIP or SUV classes are a better match.
Making the Most of a Premium Booking
- Plan your stops. On the Madinah road, tell the driver at the start whether you want to pray or eat on the way, and roughly when.
- Mention mobility needs. If a passenger uses a cane or needs help getting in and out of the car, tell us in advance so the driver can stop as close as possible to the entrance.
- Ask about the car. If you have a preference regarding the type of sedan, ask when you book. We will tell you honestly what is available on your date rather than promise a specific model.
- Pair it with a round trip. Many guests book premium for the long intercity legs and a standard or economy car for short trips within the city.
Fare
Premium fares are confirmed per car on WhatsApp for your specific route and date. The figure is fixed once agreed, it covers the whole vehicle rather than each passenger, and you pay on arrival with no deposit needed for a normal booking. Published starting fares for the sedan, family SUV/van and VIP tiers are listed in our fare guide if you want a point of reference.
How to Book
Send a WhatsApp message to +966582918075 with the route, date, time, passengers and luggage, and write "premium" so we know which class you want. You receive the fare and, once you confirm, the booking is set. On the day, the driver will contact you on the number you used.
Premium FAQ
Is premium the same as VIP?
No. Premium is our top sedan class, chosen for comfort. VIP is a separate tier aimed at guests expecting the highest level of service, often in a larger vehicle, and it has its own published fares.
Can I request a particular brand?
You can ask, and we will tell you what is available. We do not promise a specific model in advance.
Is premium worth it for a 15-minute trip?
Usually not. For short rides inside Makkah or Madinah, economy or standard does the job; premium earns its price on long drives.
Does premium run at night?
Yes, all our classes are available 24/7 when booked in advance.
